(RL) Why in Threes?

Yesterday I informed you all that my beloved iPod had shit the bed. Well, like I’ve heard many times before (and thanks again to BucketJen for reminding me) these things come in threes.

#2. Arriving home I was informed that Mr. Diva, en-route to the mall to purchase my new love, was in a car accident. He rear ended some kid who decided to stop short at a yellow light. Luckily he had not yet purchased the iPod, which was my 1st concern….Oh and Mr. D is fine too, but the bone head decided to leave the scene of the accident with out calling the cops to file a report. He told me that the kid admitted it was his fault so they just swapped info and were on their way. Now we are stuck paying to repair damages that could have possibly been covered by the other driver’s insurance. Ass.

#3. I walked in the house and set down my things, scowled at Mr. Diva for his ignorance, and opened up my new iPod. Sooo Pretty!! Not wanting to waste any time loading it up I go to my main computer to plug it in….hmmm…I could have sworn I left the PC running when I left for work that morning…I push the power button and nothing. Check the light switch, power cord, outlet…still nothing! Mr. D claims to know nothing…as if that wasn’t alreay apparent. SOB now my PC is dead too!? This, the very machine that I do all my banking on. The machine that I record all my podcasts on (including the recent unreleased Show #20). The machine which hosts all my music files for when I stream into SL! Un-freekin-believable!! I knew it was getting close to time for a replacement, but now it seems I have no choice. I just hope I can find a decent tower with Windows XP and none of this Vista crap (no offense to Crap). I’m just not ready to deal with a new OS and I’m really hoping I can install my current HD and salvage all of the software and media or I’m gonna be one ticked off Diva! ….to be continued.

    Dear TheDiva,

Sounds like your power supply kicked the bucket (not THAT Bucket… ;) There may be hope yet. Well, maybe not for that husband of yours.
